Even in today's "disposable" world, when you buy a consumer product you expect more than one year's use from it. But most manufacturers offer a standard one year warranty, leaving you without cover against any electrical or mechanical breakdown or accidental breakage. 

Mondial Assistance provides extended warranty services for white and brown consurmer goods, working with major manufacturers and retailers in Thailand.

What is Extended Warranty?

Extended warranty means you will enjoy warranty for an additional period after the expiry of  manufacturers’ standard warranty on white or brown goods purchased.  The prolonged warranty can be subscribed within one month from the date the customer purchases an electronic product.

While a relevant manufacturer remains responsible for any repair or replacement costs in case of material defect or component malfunctions during the standard warranty period, Mondial together with its partner LMG Insurance will cover for repair or replacement costs during the extended warranty period. In turn, customers pay us a small extended warranty fee within one month from the date of the product purchase.

Extended Warranty Service Delivery

Mondial handles every extended warranty claim with the best customer-oriented approach, tried and tested over years of customer service experience in a wide range of industries. Mondial’s 24-hour call center ensures prompt response to customers’ needs.

Mondial Assistance can utilize its own repair network, the manufacturer/retailer service network, or both, to serve customers. For small electronic items, the customer can always send the product to the nearest service center authorized by Mondial for repair / replacement. For large items (typically weighing over 10 kg), we will send trained technicians or experts to the customer’s place to fix. If repair on the spot is impossible, we will be responsible for transporting the product to our service center for repair / replacement then returning it back to the customer’s place.
